To generate interest amongst College students in the field of science by organising various activities, the scheme of establishing Subject Clubs was initiated.
To inculcate spirit of inquiry among students .
To encourage students to gain knowledge besides curriculum.
To create scientific atmosphere in and around the college.
To make subjects more interesting.
To promote creativeness among the Students.
To encourage parallel activities with subject studies..
To encourage students towards their duties towards society at large.
The important activities undertaken by the RED RIBBON CLUB after its formation are as under :-
Inter House Slogan writing competition in college campus was organized to bring awareness about the AIDS amongst the pupil teachers.
A Mass rally was organized by Red Ribbon Club to bring about the AIDS amongst the masses/public in general on 1st December( WORLD AIDS DAY) in KARSOG town.
AIDS awareness programme was organized by Red Ribbon Club in the slum areas.
A Quiz competition on AIDS awareness was organised by the Red Ribbon Club at COLLEGE
